Палеоархив позднеплейстоценовых обстановок осадконакопления на Борисоглебской возвышенности

Аннотация

Ландшафты центра Европейской России были сформированы последним среднеплейстоценовым оледенением, что сосредоточило значительную часть последующего осадконакопления межледниковых и перигляциальных обстановок в депрессиях ледникового палеорельефа. Однако соответствующие непрерывные постледниковые седиментационные архивы крайне редки в регионе из-за резких колебаний регионального базиса эрозии и значительной эрозионной активности во многих крупных депрессиях. Поэтому для реконструкции локальных обстановок осадконакопления и корреляции зафиксированного палеоэкологического сигнала с основными климатическими изменениями позднего плейстоцена был выбран наиболее полный имеющийся керн из котловины на северо-восточном макросклоне Борисоглебской возвышенности, который охватывает весь последний ледниково-межледниковый цикл. Тщательное макро- и мезоморфологическое исследование кернов механизированного свайно-шнекового бурения было дополнено селективным радиоуглеродным датированием богатых органикой отложений. Толща минеральных и органоминеральных осадков мощностью более 20 м отражает направленный переход от ритмичной субаквальной озерной седиментации и эвтрофно-болотной аккумуляции во время последнего межледниковья, раннего и среднего пленигляциала к суб- и супераквальному накоплению продуктов преимущественно склонового сноса во время позднего пленигляциала. На заключительных этапах позднего плейстоцена, в позднеледниковье, произошла окончательная смена к преобладанию субаэрального склонового смыва. На основании определений радиоуглеродного возраста были выявлены перерывы в осадочной записи. В купе с обнаруженными линзами аллювиальных песков они были соотнесены с флювиальной активностью времени раннего и среднего пленигляциала, хотя обстановки озерного осадконакопления на этих этапах продолжали превалировать, обеспечив большую часть мощности всей толщи выполнения котловины.
